Elegant sounds full of melancholy and melancholy that breathe an energetic expressivity and yet at the same time appear extremely soft and tender. […] Burstein's long sustained cello tones contrast beautifully with Legnani's virtuoso, silvery-glittering guitar sounds. [...] Special highlights of the overall very touching concert, with which the musicians will be touring Germany over the next few months, are Legnani's own compositions The camps of the Israelites after they left Egypt. In his solo performance, he lets a haunting rhythm grow into Arabic-like sounds in a soft minor. His stylistic change between his virtuoso fingerpicking and velvety arpeggios is impressive. Finally, Burstein's cello joins them and creates impressive sound effects with a bow that is only half attached. [...]

In the American folk song “The Wayfaring Stranger”, on the other hand, the cello with musing legati lies over the ascending and descending guitar accompaniment and explores its instrumental depth. Not least with Legnani's “Le Chat de Paris”, which oscillates between swing and blues, the artist couple proves their absolutely harmonious, congenial interplay. A tango by Ángel Gregorio Villoldo and Andalusian flamenco music round off the fantastic performance of the duo.
